Closing a Leave Case

To close a case, follow the below steps. Once you’ve closed a case, it will not show up in any “Active Cases” reports.

  1. Edit the Date Closed field
    Click the pencil icon

     

  2. Select the Date Closed

    1. You can manually type in the date or select from the calendar

    2. You can back-date, if needed

    3. Click Save

       

  3. Populate the Case Closure fields
    When finished, click Next

     

  4. The system will remind you to send a closing case email (if applicable)
    Click Done to proceed

     

  5. Send case closing email (if applicable)

    1. Click the Activity tab and click the Compose button

       

    2. Select Insert a template

       

    3. Select the Case Closure Email template in the “Leave Email Templates” folder

       

    4. Make edits to the case closure email and click Send
