To view and close a case from a terminated employee, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Case
Open cases with terminated employment records will show up on the Homepage.

  2. Verify Termination Effective Date
You can review the terminated employment record in HCM (most accurate), or you can review the employment record in Salesforce by first clicking on the Contact’s name on the case:

  3. Close the Case
    Back on the case:

    1. Populate the End Date to match the Termination Effective Date

    2. Check the Employment Record Terminated box

    3. Populate the Date Closed to today’s date

    4. Click Save

  4. You’ve successfully closed the case
