Employee Position Transfer Changes

When an employee changes positions and has an open Case, they will show up on the Open Cases of Employee Position Transfer Change report on the Homepage:
There are two ways to remove cases from this report:
Close the Case if the Pay Differential or Percent of Time Change does not transfer to the new position
Keep the case open and update the Case Contact if the Pay Differential or Percent of Time Change will transfer to the new position.

Close the Case
Open the Case from the Homepage report (Open Cases of Employee Position Transfer Change)
Edit the End Date and Date Closed fields
Click SaveÂ
This Case will now be removed from the Homepage Report (Open Cases of Employee Position Transfer Change)

Keep the Case Open and Update the Case Contact
Open the Case from the Homepage report (Open Cases of Employee Position Transfer Change)
Click on the Case Contact record

Click the Reassign button
Â
Search the employee by name, EID, email, etc
Select the appropriate Contact
Click NextÂ
Select the new position’s employment record
Basic information about the position(s) will be listed.
Click NextClick Next

Click Next
For Pay Differential Cases, you will want to ensure the BaseM or BaseH are accurate.
Click SaveÂ
Click the Case Number to go to the Case record page
This Case will now be removed from the Homepage Report (Open Cases of Employee Position Transfer Change)
The new position/job information will be updated on the Case record page.
For Pay Differential cases, the BaseM/BaseH and the New Hourly/Monthly Rates will update to the new position or job.
