From the homepage, click the performance planning task for your employee. It should be titled “[2020-2021] Performance Planning Checklist for [Employee Name].”
From the overview screen, read the directions and click “Get Started.”
You now have the option to create a plan. If you have any pre-existing goals within the current review period date range, they will show up here. You can also add new goals using the Add Performance Plan button in the upper right corner. When adding goals, you can follow steps for Creating a Goal.
Once you’ve added all goals for the employee, click the Save and Continue button.

Please note: We do NOT recommend adding goals through the performance task. Cornerstone will not reflect the modification history accurately and there can be issues with the cycles not changing to the correct cycle which is ALWAYS reflected correctly on the actual Performance Planning Page. If you choose to add goals inside the performance planning task, please ensure that all dates are in the CURRENT cycle. If this is not taken into consideration, the goals will be lost. Additionally, if you are editing/adding goals within the task, make sure that you are APPROVING the new goals within the task or the goals will be lost. |
