There are three ways that Files are added to cases:
From an Employee Email
If an employee attaches a file to their email to a Leave Coordinator, the attachment will get saved as a File on the case.
From a Leave Coordinator’s Email
If a Leave Coordinator attaches a file to their email to an employee, the attachment will get saved as a File on the case.
Manually Adding File
Files can be dragged-and-dropped into the Files section of a case:
You can also add files by searching for them:
Click the Add Files button
Click the Upload Files button
Select the file
Click Open
Click Done
To delete a Case File, you must be the owner of the File. You are only the owner of a File if you manually add it to the case. If the File comes in through an employee’s email, you are not the owner, but there is a way to take on ownership of the file so you can delete it.
Open the file
Delete the file
Open the file
Click View File Details
Change New Owner to yourself
Click Change Owner
Select Delete
You can mark a file as sensitive so ER Users are not able to view the file. All Leave Users are still able to see sensitive files.
To mark a file as sensitive, follow these steps:
Open the File
Select View File Details
Set Document Sensitivity
Change What do you want to do to “Mark as Sensitive”
Click Next
Refresh page and confirm file privacy
