When it comes time to close a case, you can close the case by selecting the “Closed” status. You will be prompted to fill out two fields:

When a case is in a Closed status, you can view the Closure Details by clicking the “Closure Details” tab on the case:

Closed cases are still very editable and searchable in the system:
You can still edit cases that are in a Closed status.
You can find closed cases in many ways
List Views
Reports
Searching
Contact Records
Closed cases will not show up in “Open Cases” List Views or Reports
